Hey friend, I’m Megan Nodecker, your resident knitwear designer, teacher and tech editor.

I love the fibre arts, painting, outdoor adventures, attempting to grow plants on my shady patio, tarot, and knitting, of course! In general, I prefer to stay in my cozy home, sip some coffee, and craft the hours away. I have a loving husband, a nine year old daughter, Georgia, and our ginger cat, Fred. We are currently living in a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Pip & Pin was started by my sister and I in 2010, using yarn from our grandmother’s stash to knit chunky accessories to sell on Etsy and at craft markets. We had so much fun building our business, and we fell in love hard with the handmade community. Eventually, our lives changed, and knitting-for-hire became an impossible task, so we evolved! I leaned into learning about pattern design and my sister focused on publishing our books and keeping our patterns and website looking their best. Katie has since become a certified breathwork practitioner, and you can find her at ritualbreathe.com.

In the newest phase of Pip & Pin, I want to share my knowledge of knitwear design with the world! While still creating patterns, I am also focused on creating online workshops and courses to help new knitwear designers realize their dreams, and providing support through tech editing and coaching.

Thank you for joining me on this ever-evolving journey! Have questions? Feel free to contact me directly!
